Creative Writing Contest

Do you want to participate in a creative writing contest? The Writer's Mentor organizes creative writing contests twice a year, once in the summer season and once again in the winter.

The sole purpose of our creative writing contest is to encourage writers to write and realize their dream of becoming a published author.

The Summer creative writing contest is open to fiction writers and screenplay writers who wish to submit the first chapter of a novel (maximum 30 pages) or the first 30 pages of a feature film script.

The creative writing contest of the winter season is open to short-story fiction writers. You can submit a fictional story with a maximum length of 1,500 words or less. The entry fee for this creative writing contest is only $25.00 USD. There is a strict rule that the maximum word count should not exceed the word limit, or else your entry will be disqualified and your entry fee will not be refunded.

We offer prizes to the winners of our creative writing contest. There are strict deadlines for the submission of your fiction story, screenplay or poems. Sign up now for a free subscription to our monthly e-zine, "Writer's World," with information on the craft of storytelling not found anywhere else on our Web site. Published monthly.
