Do you want to participate in a creative writing contest? The Writer's Mentor organizes creative writing contests two to six times a year, once in the summer season and once again in the winter. Then sometimes we offer mini-writing contests for more prizes. Sign up for our newsletter to get notified.
The sole purpose of our creative writing contest is to encourage writers to write and realize their dream of becoming a published author.
The Summer creative writing contest is open to fiction writers and screenplay writers who wish to submit the first chapter of a novel (maximum 20 pages) or the first 15 pages of a feature film script.
The creative writing contest of the winter season is open to short-story fiction writers, and nonfiction article writing. You can submit a fictional story with a maximum length of 1,500 words or less. For more submission guidelines and contest rules, be sure to bookmark our contest page. The entry fee for most of our creative writing contests is only $30.00 USD, and if you're a newsletter subscriber, you can receive up to a 50 percent discount on the writing contest entry fee. There is a strict rule that the maximum word count should not exceed the word limit, or else your entry will be disqualified and your entry fee will not be refunded.
We offer prizes to the winners of our creative writing contest. There are strict deadlines for the submission of your fiction story, screenplay or poems. Sign up now for a free subscription to our monthly e-zine newsletter, "Writer's World," with information on the craft of storytelling not found anywhere else on our Web site. Published monthly.
