Wendi relied on her family's personal experiences to write
her book. Wendi, her
husband, and three young daughters have adopted three
greyhounds. They also care for two Main Coon cats, two
cockatiels and a veiled chameleon.
Wendi was an adoption Rep
for four years, and has helped many families blend
greyhounds with small children and other pets. Wendi, along
with her two-legged and four-legged family, live in
Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She is a member of Monica's Heart
Greyhound Adoptions.
