Writing Contest

Do you want to participate in a creative writing contest? The Writer's Mentor organizes creative writing contests twice a year, once in the summer season and once again in the winter.

The sole purpose of our creative writing contest is to encourage writers to write and realize their dream of becoming a published author.

The Summer creative writing contest is open to fiction writers and screenplay writers who wish to submit the first chapter of a novel (maximum 10 pages) or the first 10 pages of a feature film script.

The creative writing contest of the winter season is open to poets and fiction writers. You can submit a poem or a fiction story that has a maximum of 1,500 words or less. The entry fee for this creative writing contest is only $25.00, however the cash prizes are spectacular. There is a strict rule that the maximum word limit should not exceed the set limit, or else your entry will be disqualified and your entry fee will not be refunded.

We offer prizes to the winners of our creative writing contest. There are strict deadlines for the submission of your fiction story, screenplay or poems.
